The role of a Security Officer is to provide maximum security and safety for all persons and assets within Dreamworld, WhiteWater World and SkyPoint. This may involve a variety of duties which may include gatehouse, SkyPoint licensed areas, emergency response, patrols and static duties.
These full-time positions will be predominantly rostered for nights, with responsibilities including but not limited to; nightly fridge and freezer checks, locking up the park and securing buildings and gates, patrols and animal welfare checks.
We seek friendly, customer focused security professionals with a ‘can-do’ approach who will thrive in our ‘FUN’ and unique environment, whilst proactively responding to a variety of situations as they arise.
To be successful an approachable and outgoing personality is essential, plus availability to work a range of shifts across a 24/7 roster. A current driver’s licence, first aid certificate, security & crowd controllers licence, cash in transit, monitoring plus a current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate are required. This is a physically demanding role, therefore a high level of energy and physical fitness are required to perform duties.
