Data Analytics Consultant

Day to day:
- You will work together closely with teams in different countries to collect and test data needed by the modeling teams to develop credit risk models.
- You will take responsibility over meeting agreed deadlines in these data collection/testing activities and help ensure that the final data meets data quality standards.
- You will support the investigation and remediation of data quality issues on an ad hoc basis where needed.
- You will perform expected loss analyses and effectively communicate results to business stakeholders.
- You will support maintenance and change processes related to key applications used for pricing and expected loss forecasting throughout the DLL organization.
- You will help ensure that there is proper governance around changes in the risk model data landscape.
- You will support documentation of data collection and testing activities as well as validation of these activities by the Model Validation team where needed.
- You will provide guidance and support to less experienced team members in the above areas.
- You will support the Data Workstream in DLL’s Future Model Landscape initiative where required.
- You will, in the above activities, interact with stakeholders from many different teams/departments, such as Predictive Modeling, Data Management, (local) Finance, Sales, and IT.
- You will report to the manager Data Analytics.

Essentials:
- A Bachelor or Master’s degree in a data- or IT-related field.
- 3-5 Years of professional experience working in a similar role.
- Understanding data is a true passion of yours.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience in executing quantitative analyses using SQL and R/Python, and ability to work with MS Excel.
- You have a good eye for detail and strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated affinity with the development of predictive models.
- You are a self-starter and able to work in an organization with a complex system and data landscape.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
Extras:
- Knowledge and experience with the application of Agile and Scrum practices.
- Experience in working with Microsoft Azure technology and Databricks.
- Prior experience working in the Finance industry / credit risk domain and knowledge of relevant regulation.
- Preference to work in a dynamic, international environment.
