Skate Cruiser at City of Woodstock

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications:

  • be a good skater,
  • have good communications and public relation skills,
  • standard first aid/CPR an asset or be willing to obtain as a condition of employment.

Duties:

  • patrol public skating to ensure that rules are being followed,
  • assist anyone who has been injured,
  • file the appropriate accident report form,
  • ensure ice conditions are safe for the public

Salary rate is $16.55 per hour as per Schedule “A” of the collective agreement. Hours of work as scheduled by the Arena Supervisor not to exceed forty-eight (48) hours in a two week period in accordance with the C.U.P.E., Local 1146 – Inside & Part-time Unit collective agreement.
