As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide support to Field Operations within Water Services. In this role, you will manage data entry and records management alongside general administrative duties. Primary duties include:
  • Consolidate information from various sources into different software (i.e., Asset Management Systems).
  • Accurately interpret written and oral information from internal and external customers.
  • Reconcile work orders in asset management and 311 systems.
  • Assist in the assessment and data entry of records into Physical Objects.
  • Draft and edit general correspondence for internal and external customers, meeting minutes, and agendas.
  • Assist with training and troubleshooting of office equipment such as printers.
  • Carry out general administrative duties such mail distribution, filing, copies, scanning etc.
  • Complete customer mail merges.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalency (e.g. GED) with at least 2 years of experience in Business Administration, Data management, Customer Service or a related field OR;
  • A completed 1 year certificate in Business Administration and at least 1 year of related experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and Word) is required.
  • Knowledge of and previous experience using 3-1-1 and OWAM would be considered an asset.
  • Success in this position requires the ability to keep track of details and respond in a timely manner.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and customer service skills are essential.
  • The ability to multi-task, prioritize and action time sensitive requests.
  • The ability to make independent decisions while adhering to established processes.

Position Type: 1 Temporary (up to 18 months)
Location: 625 25 Avenue SE
Compensation: Pay Grade 4 $27.10 – 36.21 per hour (2023 Rates)
Days of Work: This position works a 5 day
work week with one day off in a 3 week cycle.

Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week

Location : Calgary, AB
