You are widely employable within controlling, with an emphasis on business control. That is why, in addition to your abilities to provide insight into data, you also need to have a good basis in the field of accounting and financial administration. This way you not only know how to translate finance into business, but you also know how the figures are created. You will be deployed both individually and in a team at customers within different industries.
How do you do this?
- function as a sparring partner for management by mapping the effect of activities on the financial results;
- you analyze customer issues and come up with concrete improvement proposals;
- you improve the customer’s financial position by implementing improvement projects;
- mapping out the effect of activities on the financial results;
- analyzing the business performance on the basis of the set KPIs and proactively following up where necessary;
- coordinating the planning and control cycle based on the preparation of the annual accounts, forecasting and budgeting;
- advising the customer on process improvements, for example through automation and robotisation;
- coaching and supervising junior colleagues;
- (co-)managing and supervising project teams, both of the client and of Deloitte;
- (partly) responsible for the acquisition of new assignments and the expansion of the client and relationship network;
- (jointly) responsible for the (further) development of propositions;
- make a substantial contribution to the controlling practice in the field of recruitment, publications and knowledge management.

Word jij onze nieuwe Business Controller? Je beschikt over analytisch denkvermogen, bent oplossingsgericht en zeer adviesvaardig. Verder ben jij goed inzetbaar op zowel individuele basis als in teamverband. Verder verwachten wij voor deze rol het volgende van jou:
- je beschikt over een afgeronde WO-opleiding Bedrijfseconomie (bij voorkeur in de richting van Accountancy/Control);
- je hebt zeker zo’n 2 jaar werkervaring als controller of financieel adviseur
- je hebt uitstekende kennis van Excel, ERP en data-visualisatietools en -pakketten;
- je hebt kennis van en ervaring met het toepassen van (internationale) verslaggevingsvoorschriften;
- je beheerst zowel de Nederlandse als de Engelse taal in woord en geschrift.
