Do you enjoy transporting the containers to customers in the region as well as to the terminals in Rotterdam? Then we are looking for you as a driver for our terminal in Tiel. What are you going to do?

As a driver, you ensure that the containers are taken to and from customers in the region and the terminals in Rotterdam. You can do this by:

• transport shipping containers;
• Ensure that you obtain the correct documentation;
• Be responsible for daily maintenance and minor malfunctions;
• Keep the vehicle clean;
• Identifying delays and passing them on to the planning department.

What do we ask?

You strive to get the containers to the right place on time. You have a good topographical knowledge and have some technical knowledge related to minor maintenance of your vehicle. If you have experience in transporting shipping containers, this is a plus. You will also bring:

• Driver’s license CE and valid code 95;
• At least 2 years of experience in transporting containers to the terminals in Rotterdam;
• LHV certificate or willingness to obtain it;
• Knowledge of transport documents and associated customs documents.

VOG: Applying for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is part of the application procedure.

What do we offer?

A contract for 24 – 40 hours a week for 7 months with the prospect of permanent employment. We participate in the collective labor agreement for professional goods transport. You can also count on:

• Travel allowance of € 0.23 per kilometre, from 10 kilometres one way with a maximum of 50 kilometres per day;

CTU takes care of the storage and transhipment of sea containers at our locations in Utrecht, Tiel and Lelystad. Together, we transport the containers safely and efficiently from our terminals to seaports and customers in the region. We work in small teams where we are there for each other.
