Your work

As a senior data analyst within CDS, you are responsible for your projects, coaching your teammates and ensuring that the preconditions are in place to be able to work as a team.

You will research new data sources, deliver data-driven insights, perform analyses, visualize in Power BI and ultimately convey the most important insights to stakeholders. In doing so, you continuously keep an overview of what is going on in the department: which projects overlap and where do you see opportunities for synergy? Of course, you also give (un)solicited advice based on this.

Within CDS, we focus on controlling customer data and processes and help change programs by making impactful analyses. Projects you can think of:

• Doing deep dives on data quality
• Gain insight into the operation of customer processes such as Client Onboarding (NCTO)
• Impact analyses of new regulations (both for the customer and the bank)
• Monitoring/self-service BI dashboards in Power BI
• Bank-wide change processes where you provide advice and insights as a data consultant

Environment

Customer Data Solutions (CDS) is the end-to-end product unit responsible for generic customer processes and all customer and relationship data (Customer and Party data). CDS consists of 4 departments; CDS Data Office, Customer Generic Processes, CDS Grid and Steering & Expertise. As a data analyst, you will be part of the CoE BI & Data Analytics team within CDS Data Office.

Your profile

• You are ultimately responsible for all facets of a data issue: from data disclosure to getting the organization moving based on your insights
• You have excellent analytical skills and are strong in getting the message across
• You are a team player and love to share your knowledge with your teammates
• You are able to maintain an overview and make connections between different projects within the department
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with one of the following languages: SQL, Python/PySpark
• A relevant (university) degree
• You have strong communication and social skills that help you collaborate with different departments
• You take responsibility, you are self-organizing and you take initiative
• You understand the business and can convey technical topics in a non-technical language
• You get energy from translating data insights into effective and attractive visualizations in Power BI or a similar visualization tool
• You have a good command of the Dutch and English language
