For our store in Rotterdam Lijnbaan we are looking for an enthusiastic Service Assistant (on-call basis).

Part-time · Rotterdam Lijnbaan

As a Service Assistant, you have an important task in our store. Together with your colleagues, you are the business card. This way you welcome every customer completely in Douglas style. And with your personal presentation, every customer sees your passion for our products.

Your responsibilities

  • You provide service by performing all work to support sales within the store;
  • You ensure that our customers are professionally assisted during checkout;
  • You can transform Douglas products into beautifully wrapped gifts that shine on every birthday and under every Christmas tree;
  • You replenish packaging material, gift cards, samples and customer gifts at the checkout;
  • You inform the customer about current actions and promotions;
  • Finally, you ensure that every customer leaves the store with a very satisfied feeling and comes back quickly.

Your knowledge and skills

  • Enthusiastic and representative appearance;
  • Dedicated and customer-friendly character;
  • Flexible deployment (e.g. in the evenings and weekends), because that’s when most customers are there. And they are exactly the reason why we like this work so much;
  • Minimum VMBO working level and thinking level;
  • Good command of the Dutch language.
