We are currently seeking a part time support workers in Morrinsville to support our clients who have a physical or intellectual disability.
This position includes personal cares, showering, bathing, personal hygiene and cooking. Assisting with our clients on day to day things they can not do on their own.

Our Support Workers assist people who access our services to live as independently as possible, in their community. Support Workers are part of a team who work shifts or specific rosters providing 24/7 cover with responsibilities including aiding with personal care, community outings, integration, and other aspects of daily living – enabling our clients to be as independent as possible.

You will be somebody who really thrives off helping others and who is committed to upholding high standards of care. Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness is important in this role as the people we support come from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and interests. Having experience with disability is an advantage however not essential.
- A desire to support our people to learn new skills and achieve outcomes
- Prior experience supporting others with aspects of daily living, preferably those living with intellectual or physical disabilities
- Full driver’s licence and confidence to safely transport passengers in our disability vans (training provided)
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts across a roster, including weekends
