The Jan van Brabant College consists of 2 independent schools: the Molenstraat branch and the Deltaweg branch with the Gasthuisstraat branch, Eerste Opvang Anderstaligen (EOA). The Molenstraat branch offers MAVO/VMBO-TL, HAVO, VWO and Bilingual Education in MAVO, HAVO and VWO. In addition to mavo/vmbo-tl/gl, the Deltaweg branch offers Learning Path Supporting Education (LWOO). Both schools operate independently in terms of education and can boast a rich and wise educational history. Teaching Assistant AMV (Unaccompanied Minor Foreign Nationals) (6 a.m. – 6 p.m.)

What are you going to do?

As a teaching assistant, you will assist teachers with the teaching task and organizational projects and participate in the development of the teaching materials. You replace regular lessons in case of class cancellations and supervise individual students or small groups of students. You will often be deployed to support NT2. We’ll probably miss some tasks in this description, but you’ll find out soon enough when you start in this fun job.

  • You have pedagogical skills;
  • You are available on Tuesdays for our AMV branch in Helmond;
  • Possible availability on Mondays and Wednesdays for our AMV branch in Geldrop is a nice bonus;
  • You love your profession and you have a genuine interest in the students you supervise;
  • You have an affinity with technology;
  • You are social and seek to connect with colleagues and students;
  • You are in possession of a relevant diploma;
  • Do you have experience with NT2? Then we will be very excited!

What we offer

This is what we offer you:

  • A temporary contract until the end of the school year;
  • A salary between €2252 and €3257 gross per month for full-time employment. You will be classified in scale 6 of the collective labor agreement VO on the basis of education and experience.
  • 8% holiday pay;
  • An end-of-year bonus of 8.33%
  • An extra end-of-year bonus of €1200 gross per year on a full-time basis;
  • 8% labour market allowance;
  • A nice package of fringe benefits, from which you can choose yourself.
